Ricky Nolasco struck out 10 batters at the ballpark where the North Dallas
Fire Ants beat the Columbus Crowd in 11 innings by the score of 4 to 1.
Both teams were tied at 1 runs apiece after nine innings. North Dallas won it
in the 11th inning. A.J. Pierzynski led off the inning for North Dallas when
he lined a single. Dustin Pedroia came next and he lined a one-base hit.
Michael Young then stroked a base-hit. After an out was recorded, Ryan
Roberts came up and he would ground out. Brendan Ryan stepped into the box
and delivered a single. North Dallas had 10 hits for the night.
Joakim Soria(2-1) got the win allowing no runs in 2 innings. Matt Palmer(4-8)
was the losing pitcher in relief. He surrendered 2 runs and 2 hits in 3 and
